Tuna rillettes

Catering recipe: Tuna rillettes. Entree or appetiser for approx. 40 serves.
Preperation time: 10 minutes


  • Cut fine 135 grams of drained anchovies. Cut the butter into cubes. Add both into a stand mixer with a flat beater and mix at least 5 minutes to a whipped butter.
  • Meanwhile, drain the tuna well. Add the sesame oil and pepper to the whipped butter and mix thoroughly through the butter.
  • Finally add the tuna and mix until it has been broken into threads through the whipped butter – approx. 1 minute.
  • Serve with hearty bread or toast and caperberries.This catering recipe was developed for Deepblue by Emma van der Deijl (Em’s real food).

  • 1 pouch (1400 g) Deepblue® tuna in water
  • 1 can (600 g) Deepblue® anchovies or 5 small cans (48 g) Deepblue® anchovies
  • 600 g butter at room temperature
  • 90 ml sesame oil
  • 2 tsp ground white pepper
  • bread/toast and caperberries to serve
